Causes of forest fire
The main causes of forest fires are:
1.       Natural causes:
·         Lightning
·         Short-circuit of power lines

2.       Human causes:
·         Throwing of burning cigarettes end or matches.
·         Agricultural activities like burning grass-gorse or stubble.
·         Residential activities like the use of electrical tools that cause sparks and burn of wastes.
·         The criminal act of intentionally setting a fire.
·         Burning of wastes and garbage at non-authorized sites.
·         Hunting activities.
